Recommendations
  • El Congreso de la República debe legislar sobre la materia, pues los avances han sido de tipo jurisprudencial solamente.
  • Realizar campañas en pro de la defensa y garantía de los derechos sexuales y derechos reproductivos. Capacitar a los funcionarios públicos en derechos sexuales y derechos reproductivos desde un enfoque laico. Por otro lado, se reconoce que, dado el cambio en la cabeza de la Procuraduría. puede haber oportunidades para la defensa de los derechos sexuales y reproductivos. Se recomienda avanzar en la agenda para intentar compensar el vacío de los últimos años.

  • Implementar estrategias para la elaboración de campañas de difusión sobre derechos sexuales y derechos reproductivos en las que intervengan múltiples sectores del gobierno y que sean accesibles para todas las personas. De igual modo, se cree conveniente incorporar elementos relacionados con la diversidad sexual y la identidad de género.
  • Fortalecer la participación efectiva de las personas LGBTI desde la política pública nacional.
